Here is Princess Zelda in her Twilight Princess / Super Smash Bros. Brawl design. If you don't know what this design looks like, you can view them here:

It's my favourite design of her, she looks so pretty in those games :D

She took a really long time to complete...I'll probably be posting a work-in-progress picture later on. She's also bigger than the usual human plushies I make...she's about 17 inches.

I also used a different pattern. It's a heavily altered version of the pattern I've been using for my other human plushies, which is an already altered version of BabyLondonStar's sitting human pattern (I mention this in my first Link plushie, the first time I used that pattern ([link])). I made it so that it would be longer/more proportionate to the head, and very womanly. She has a very curvy body, and yes, she does have a chest. Are plush boobs weird? Yeah maybe lol, but I wanted to try something different and in the end I think it looks good with her corset as opposed to a flat corset. It's a bit hard to see the curves because of her dress, but when I post the wip picture you'll see the body itself.

I'm really happy with how she came out. She's my most detailed plushie yet! I know the look on her face is rather serious, but I was going for more of an accurate depiction of Zelda rather than a cute look. Instead of a cute chibi, I wanted it to represent her really accurately...beautiful, royal, majestic. I tried to get as much detail in as possible. I apologize for the ugly colour of her armour...I don't have gold paint, so I tried to mix it myself, and in the end I couldn't reproduce a good colour -___-. I topstitched/embroidered details in her dress, gloves, head piece and armour. That part in front of her dress was painted (blue - silver) and then embroidered over. And as usual, her face was hand-embroidered. She's made from fleece, flannelette, felt, beads, ribbons. I also did the hair differently...instead of making the head and then sewing a sheet of fabric on for the hair, I actually made the hair part of the head...I think it worked out well.

I am submitting this into Plushie-Database's contest themed Fairytale. I know Legend of Zelda is a video game, but the rules said any princess is allowed, and if you think about it, it has a very fairytale-esque story. A great kingdom is put in jeopardy by an evil sorceror(Ganondorf) and a young boy(Link) must journey to save it with the aid of the princess. It involves adventure, magic, creatures, fairies, castles. If it were a story instead of a game, it could very well be a fairytale (of course that's just my opinion).

If you are a big Zelda fan and are viewing this from Plushie-Database, and you are considering this as one of the pieces to vote on, I do ask that you first consider why...I'd rather get a vote if you think it's well done rather than because you like Zelda.

Wow I wrote a novel here...^^;
100% hand-sewn and hand-embroidered.

I do not own Zelda. Zelda © Nintendo
